Guidelines for authors submitting books to MatSense Publication
About MatSense Publication
MatSense Publication is an academic publishing initiative of MatSense OPC Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, India, dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly books in science, engineering, technology, and interdisciplinary research areas.
The aim is to disseminate innovative research, academic knowledge, and technological developments to researchers, students, and professionals worldwide.
Types of Books Accepted
MatSense accepts the following categories:
- Research Monographs — Original research work written by one or more authors.
- Edited Books — Books containing chapters written by multiple contributors.
- Textbooks — Books designed for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Conference Proceedings — Selected peer-reviewed papers from conferences or workshops.
- Professional Reference Books — Books for researchers, industry experts, and practitioners.
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English.
File Format
Submit manuscripts in:
- Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
- LaTeX (optional)
Book Structure
A complete manuscript should include:
- Title Page
- Copyright Page
- Preface / Foreword
- Acknowledgements
- Table of Contents
- List of Figures
- List of Tables
- Chapters
- References
- Index (optional)
- Author Biography
Chapter Structure
Each chapter should contain:
- Chapter Title
- Author Names and Affiliations
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (4–6)
- Introduction
- Methodology / Theory
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
Formatting Guidelines

Figures and Tables
- Figures must be high resolution (300 dpi)
- Tables should be editable text
- Each figure and table must include a caption
Referencing Style
MatSense accepts the following referencing styles:
- APA
- IEEE
- Vancouver
Note: Authors must maintain consistency throughout the manuscript.
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.
Maximum acceptable similarity: 10–15% (excluding references).
If plagiarism exceeds the limit, the manuscript will be returned for revision or rejected.
Peer Review Process
All scholarly books undergo peer review.
Review model:
- Double-blind peer review
- Each manuscript is evaluated by two independent experts
Copyright
Authors retain copyright but grant publishing and distribution rights to MatSense Publication.

Book Publishing Charges
Authors may be required to pay Book Processing Charges (BPC) to support production and distribution.

- Editing requirements
- Print copies
